First Month it Broke!

Only had the washer one month and it broke down. Power turns on then shuts off right away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful performance!

I love my new GE washer! My clothes are noticeably cleaner, I find the controls easy to maneuver. I like that I can select my own water level, and so much more! It is different than my 28 year old washers I replaced, but for the better.

Spin cycle is pretty loud, sounds like it may take off any minute. Overall a good washer.

Great washing machine!

After fighting with a Maytag for 4 years and having to start and stop it with just about every load because of it jumping around I took a chance on a GE and am so glad I did . It is a dream. No jumping and going off balanced . I absolutely love this machine. GE is the way to go. My new fridge, freezer and now washing machine are all GE products and I'm extremely pleased with all three.

Some features are not as good as they could be.

Easy spinning makes the machine walk the floor. This is a terrible short coming of the machine. There are other slight problems which we do not like. We've been using GE appliances for many years and this is the worse one we encountered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
