Better than I imagined

I've had this washer for about a month. Previously had a front loader for 10 years (not GE). I missed having an agitator top load washer. I am so glad I went this GE. Each wash cycle dictates how the agitator will function. I am shocked at how delicate the "delicates" cycle is. The lid lock activates only when the basket is spinning at the beginning and end of the cycle. Everything comes out much cleaner than my old front loader. Plenty of room for everything. It's kind of noisy but we shut the door to the laundry room and if we're watching tv we barely hear it. The wash is done much faster than my old front loader making it easier to keep up with laundry. A couple of things though: The washer will get out of balance if there isn't enough laundry inside. The water level does not fill all the way up like the old top loaders. And if by chance the knob comes off, just make sure you line up the notches and press down so it'll fasten to the washer correctly. I am quite happy with this washer. I hope it lasts a long time.

I love the large capacity and the see through top! I don’t care for the auto water level. The one load I did using that function seemed as if the level was too low to get a good wash.

Big Tub

In need of new washer and at age 70 not sure I need such an amazing machine. The tub is extra large and nice for bedding and towels. Easy to add water if you feel the sensor shorted you. I like being able to open the lid with ease and it isn't locked from beginning to end. Didn't think I would need or use all cycles but, find I use them all!

The features on this washer is great. It takes the guess out of how to wash your Activewear, which I always had to wash on delicate cycle.

Before buying this washer I read so many reviews good and bad. The sale price was a main factor in choosing this one and the features second. When delivered it had a dent in the side but the seller gave and extra discount to cover the damage that I frankly can live with. This washer is quiet and works perfectly! I love all the cycle options and the large capacity drum is such an upgrade from my old smaller washer. Would definitely recommend!!
