Large capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love this washer, I love the capacity and I love how I can see the cycle working. The color (Diamond grey) is so nice! Honestly it’s a bit loud at times but it’s a washing machine. It also has the cutest chimes when the cycle is finished. The teal lighted panel is attractive as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Disappointed

Don’t buy this washer. It goes out of balance and jumps around often. Service came out to fix it 7 times but said there was nothing wrong with it, that’s just how they are. Very disappointed.

I've only had the washer for about 36 hours, but I've already done three loads of laundry trying to catch up after 10 days without a washer. So far, I've liked everything about the washer especially the capacity. I just couldn't give it 5 out of 5 so quickly. One thing, I can't find it anywhere online, but it would have been REALLY helpful to have a diagram explaining all the buttons and features.

Would prefer more options for timing of the cycles. The rinse cycle is too short and I have needed to repeat the rinse cycle.

Purchased new washer and dryer, unhappy with both. The fabric softener, does not work, it’s does not cycle through the washer. The dryers timed dry does not completely dry, when we choose highest level “more dry” and I know the vents were clean and old dryer did not have this issue, so that’s not the issue. I’m assuming it’s their sensor. I would not buy another GE product. I’ll be reaching out to them about these issues.

We'd like to provide information on using your washer's fabric softener dispenser. When using fabric softener, you have to select the Deep Rinse option for that cycle. The Deep Rinse option ensures the fabric softener is properly diluted and distributed by adding extra water and agitating clothes after the detergent is rinsed out.

Great Machine!

This Machine is Great! The controls are easy to use and efficient. We have washed everything from Bed sheets and blankets to socks and delicate sweaters. The spin cycle works very well and saves time on the Dryer.

Had washer (GTW585BSVWS) for about a month. So far so good. It washes well and has good capacity. The shorter height of the unit fits in my space well. Like other reviewers have said, it can be a little loud with the whooshing sound, but not bad in my opinion. I do wish the detergent dispensing drawer was a bit sturdier, we'll see how it holds up over time. Overall seems like a good unit.
