[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was the first one I saw and wanted. After looking at all the other models came back to this one. I’m shorter and can reach the bottom of the drum. The washing selections are more than needed but work great for me. Yes it’s a little noisy but it located in my mud room so it’s nice that I can hear the cycles. Love the glass top. I can check the load during cycles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed as I had the washer for only two years and the tub is rusting, the fabric softener won’t dispense properly and when it does it just sits on my clothes, so I have to refashion them again.

We’d like to assist with these issues you’re having with rust and the fabric softener not dispensing properly. For the dispensing issue, we recommend checking the dispenser to ensure it’s not clogged. If the dispenser is getting clogged, that may indicate the water temperature is too cold; an issue with the water temperature may also cause the softener to stay on clothing rather than dispersing properly. The dispenser being clogged and residue remaining on clothing is discussed on page 23 of the manual, available at this link: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--BpenU6QG--/hjtwbmgoskzquena3wev.pdf. Cleaning the dispenser is also discussed, on page 15.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm coming from years of using a front-loading washer, so this 4.5 cu-ft top-loader seems huge to me (great capacity); it's been wonderful for washing things like large comforters. The amount of control this washer affords is also amazing, from water level to water temp, spin rate, load weight, soil amount, cycle types, etc. If you do the same load of laundry every week, like I do, you can set everything up the way you want it, then press the "My Cycle" button for 3 seconds to save your preferences. I've taken it through about 4 loads so far, and I'm pleased with the performance. The clothes come out clean, and are spun very dry, resulting in less time in the dryer. My only complaint (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) is that it's a bit noisier than my old front loader. Specifically the washing/agitation cycle as the clothes are sloshed back and forth. There is a very audible motor/belt-driven sound. But I'm told that it's normal. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the choice of cycles on the washer. The machine is doing a great job of cleaning the clothes. The only drawback is the volume of the end of cycle signal. Even on the loudest setting the signal cannot be heard beyond the laundry room.
