Excellent purchase! User friendly, love the wash options, appreciate the deep capacity and the clear lid gives us confidence we can see load and agitator performance when the lid is locked. Sounds don’t always give the full picture of how things are going and we like this. Clothing comes out really clean, with clear lid we can see what that rinse water looks like. We would buy this again and excellent price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE washer has been great. When my Maytag washer died I had an appliance guy come and the transmission was gone he suggested a GE. I have some GE appliances and been very happy with them so far I’m glad I purchased this washer it’s been excellent.

I am so disappointed in this washer. The agitator (which is more like a propeller) is ruining our clothes. It's more like a food processor for fabrics. And it was suggested to me that I sand it down, which would be the entire agitator. It is consistently off balance when I do a regular load of sheets, that it "walks". Blankets come out twisted like a rope. The controls are ridiculous. And I don't understand what the point is of the glass top. I do most of my laundry now on gentle. Can't wait until I pay this off so I can junk it and get a proper washer.

We want to help out with the agitator and the balancing issues you are noticing. In regards to the balancing issues, we suggest checking to ensure that your washer is completely level to the ground. This will help prevent excessive vibration and ensure the tub isn't overcompensating. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. Overall good but NOISY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: 1. Washes clothes faster and better than LG I previously had which had no agitator. I can already tell my clothes feel softer. Don't think the LG ever rinsed well. 2. Very easy to use
Cons: 1. Washer and matching dryer are the noisiest W&D I've ever had or used, incredibly noisy. 2. Detergent "drawer" dispenser on washer and lint collector on dryer feel like flimsy, cheap plastic, hope they last or can be replaced. Didn't check that before I purchased.
Pros outweigh cons so far for me, have only had a couple of weeks.
