Good Until it’s Not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the washer for less than a year. For the past few months, it picks and chooses when it wants to ‘drain’. The cycle finishes and the clothes are soaked and heavy. No water is in the tank - so I guess it’s not spinning??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We first recommend checking that your washer is stable and level to the ground. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the
individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. This will prevent out of balance conditions and ensure proper spinning. You will also want to check the drain hose, to ensure no kinks or obstructions are present. For the most part, I'm enjoying this washer. Model GTW585BPV3DG. Specifically the water level option so that I can adjust as necessary based on my load. The washer definitely has issues with the spin cycle and properly balancing the load. Washing anything (like a small throw rug or couch cover) will send it into a total tizzy and sound like it's about to take off. It's not about overloading the washer, but rather the weight and shape of what is going in. For a regular load of clothes, it works great.
