Only issue with this washer is it will not shut off the panel board automatically if you open lid stays on all the time until you hit the off button

Wrinkly outcomes

Reason for 2 stars = clothes are always so wrinkly! I have a lot of delicate clothes I used the delicate cycle for and hang dry. Also my 3 boys live in soccer jerseys that don’t do well in the dryer - but everything is so wrinkly when I take out to hang. I’ve tried adjusting the water levels, but same result. Everything else works fine, but I’d not go with this model again due to this issue. My last GE upright I didn’t have the same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with the wrinkling you are experiencing in your washer. There are multiple causes for clothes wrinkling in the washer. Too many items in the washer for the load size selected can cause wrinkles as well as the improper sorting of the clothes in the tub (for example, loading large, heavy items with lightweight, delicate items). For being a new washer it is not quiet. If my laundry door is open I can hear it running several rooms way.

Perfect washer!

My last washing machine lasted less than three years, so I needed something reliable. This washer has a generous capacity, old-school agitator that gets clothes clean without excess wear, lots of pre-programmed cycles but controls to let me adjust water level, temp & spin whenever I want. Cycles happily finish faster than I expected. Every load I am thankful for this washer.

Impressive capacity and controls! Great cleaning performance with multiple cycle modes and ease of operation. Really like the agitator which seems to enhance the cleaning process.

Beautiful washer, quiet enough that I forget it’s running. Efficient and pleasant to run! Great capacity and fits the space perfectly! The controls took a minute to figure out, but now we are off and running!

Has a large capacity drum which is great. Washer is kind of noisy but I have it out in my shed so it doesn’t bother me. The softener tray when used does not actually get water through it so it is really of no use. I tried it a few times. I really wish I had gone with something else. The automatic water fill will often use very little water for the load you have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the capacity of this washer. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers, such as this one, are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. We also recommend using the extra rinse option when using fabric softener.
