Love this washer. It can clean big loads with no problem. Haven't had to rewash yet! So many settings and love the little song it sings.

Not great first impression.

We’ve had this installed for less than 48 hours and the drum bangs and makes a squeaking sound like you’ve never heard before with little loads. Extremely unhappy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help go over the sounds you are noticing with your washer.
Banging sounds can be caused by improper installation such as the shipping rod being left in, moving the washer without the shipping rod in place or the washer not being leveled properly.
We recommend checking to make sure that your unit is completely level to the ground and that all shipping materials are removed.

Love it so much I bought the newer one!

I love this machine. I had an older version of the same model that died after almost 10 years, so I just bought the latest version of the same model! Love the large capacity, the controls and cycles are great. I like that I can save my favorite cycle settings. It cleans well and I know it will last! I like classic agitators - I don’t want a stinky front loader. Awesome washer!!

Noise is Unbearable!! Dont Buy!

I have NEVER owned a washer that was as loud as this monster. It is horrendously loud. I have had it less than 4 months and am way am over the loud noises it makes. Do no even think of buying this lemon.

We would like to help you with the sound level of your washer. We recommend making sure the unit is properly leveled; you can adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down.

Cleans well. Looks nice.

Cleans very well. Noiser than I expected. Do not like that when I open door the remove clothes the machine turns on. I do laundry almost daily therefore, I do not want to do another load. I would perfer that it turns completely off, unless I choose to turn it on. I would rather have a manual option at that time to turn it on if needed. I do not like the plastic Bubble type Buttons. I have had GE products in past with those type of buttons and they eventually burst open and look really bad. Lowe's, where I purchased this machine, did not have one on display. If I had seen the plastic type buttons, I would not have purchased this machine. Hopefully the quality of these type buttons have improved.
Washed cloth very well. Much noiser than I expected. I do not like that when I open lid to remove clothes the washer turns back. I would rather turn the machine back on if I need to have other loads. I do not like the bubble push buttons. Other GE appliance that I have purchased in the past had those and they eventually split open then the buttons didn't work and they looked bad. Lowe's, where I purchased the machine, did not have this machine on display, therefore, I did not realize this model had these type of buttons. If I had, I would not have purchased this machine. Hopefully you have improved on the quality and they won't split on this product. Sorry if this is a duplicate complaint, as my written conversation completely disappeared, so I had to rewrite these complaints.

Great for washing several pairs of jeans at a time, as well as blankets or large loads of towels. Fairly quiet during cycles compared to my previous washer. Appreciate the automatic water level feature, especially when I'm only needing to wash a few items at a time. I'd definitely recommend purchasing this washer.
