Good not great

We ended up with this washer because of its smaller footprint (front to back dimension of 27") and need to fit into our wash room. 27" used to be pretty standard now everything is pushing 30" (especially the front loaders). Looks like GE avoided adding depth (front to back) by making the tub taller (top to bottom). Some people might hate reaching that far down to pull clothes out. Not a problem for us though.
As for washing clothes, it is rather noisy but more from the clicks and clanks that happen as it transitions through a cycle as opposed to the spin cycle. Our old Maytag was really loud during the spin cycle, this one not so much. It does jump out of balance on small, light loads occasionally but adjusts on its own. On the positive side, it does a better job of cleaning the clothes. Our old Maytag felt like it always used too little water while this one seems to use a little more. The Maytag tended to not create suds while this one does which makes me feel like it's washing the clothes better.
We got about 10 years out of our Maytag before the washer Gods took it. Hard to say if this one will provide anything more than that.

Plenty of room to wash cloths. Push button controls make it easy. There are cy les for everything you wash. The performance of the washer is outstanding. It is a qiuet machine.

Get thee an agitator!

We've been using for a week and love it. Our last machine had an impeller ,not an agitator and that was not great. Clothes now are so much cleaner, pretty sure due to an adequate amount of water and actual movement. Old school but works so much better.

Best purchase in years.

I had a Samsung that was only a few years old. The salesman convinced me that it would work better than a washer that had an agitator! Huge mistake! I was always repositioning wash that was out of balance even with only a few things in it. Since I’ve had this machine I have really put it through the torture test. I’ve done huge loads of blankets, towels, bedding, and just about everything else. Not one single time that I have a balance issue. To me, it’s already made it worth it purchase just in the amount of time I’ve saved and the amount of frustration that I no longer have. I love everything about this machine. I forgot to mention my old machine wouldn’t fit unless I cut out of section of the wall so that I can close the door. This one fits perfectly. Very pleased with everything.

We had the washer installed on 4/21/2025. We did several loads of clothes and everything came out clean with no residue. The controls took some getting used to, but we got it to work like we wanted it to. So far so good. Capacity, cycles, and noise levels were no problem.
