So far we love our GE set! We are coming from a Samsung set after the washer almost completely rusted out. The reviews were the biggest thing for me before purchase as well as the price and features. So far we are very pleased.

My husband is a mechanic and gets all kids of grease, oil and fluids on him on a daily basis. This machine does an amazing job getting his clothes clean

I have only used the washer a couple of times. I did like the feature I could add extra water to the load and add a garment while washing as long as its not spinning. I'm still getting used to it. By watching the clothes wash through the glass top it seems that unless there is a lot of water for the clothes to "float" in and be agitated they seem to rotate and twist below the actual agitator. They still moved about and came out clean but I wasn't sure the agitator was doing much with the clothes. I had a small and a medium load. Its definitely not like the old agitator machines I've had in the past. I changed to this top loader from a front load thinking there would be more "agitation". I'm not sure if I shouldn't have spent a little more $ and purchased the model with the impeller instead of the agitator. I'm sure as I learn more about this machine I'll be pleased with it. It has many cycles and features I haven't begun to explore yet.
