Doesn’t make sense??

We like our new washer. It has options that make sense. On auto sensor the water barely covers the clothes and during rinse the tub doesn’t fill, it just sprays a little bit of water as it spins. Is this effective?? Does this get all the soap rinsed??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist you with your washer. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary.
This unit offers a deep fill option, which adds additional water to the wash load, regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill.

Very happy and satisfied. We replaced a 40 year old Maytag that we were very happy with. I was apprehensive about getting a newer one, but so far no complaints.

Beware the new digital appliances, breakdown immin

Beware of this model - purchased it in April 2023, installed on 4/24/23. Within a year the digital programming started to have glitches (would reset our inputs on type of wash, water level, etc), sometimes locking up altogether. Only solution was to unplug and it would reset. Should have complained then, but a year-old appliance shouldn't have problems right? Fast-forward 6 more months, and when pushing the settings buttons, again to override the units settings, sparks from the "brains" shot down into the tub. Unplugged immediately, service tech came same day, the lid latch wires were crimped and frayed, apparently during assembly they were pinched in the unit, and blew up, but not until the control module fried. Repair cost equated to a new washer. Just replaced it today with a non-digital, basement model of equal size.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have no complaints about this machine. I have a more expensive one in my last house that would easily get out of balance. This one does not. I love all the options for washing even though I only use two for the most part!
