Much noisier than my 10 year old unit I just replaced. Same Model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife really wanted a top loading washer and this one had a good review on the wirecutter. It is easy to use and spins clothes very dry. It also uses very little water on the auto water sensing setting. I hope it lasts a long time for us.

Clean clothes again

So far I really like this machine! It is more loud than my old LG with impeller; however, the clothes are actually being cleaned with the agitator.
I have enjoyed how simple it is to use.

I upgraded into this model because of the features it has, specifically the agitator. I have only used it twice but so far loving it. Might take me a little time to figure out all the controls.
