I read the reviews before purchasing this washer. As I recall the approval rating was 87%. So far so good. One month in with no complaints. My old Whirpool lasted 18 years. This one has a projected life of 8-10 years.

I've only had it 3 days, so I can't speak to longevity, but it is cleaning great! Manual water fill levels give you a lot more control than other high efficiency washers. It's easy to use, huge capacity, and manages bulky loads well so far. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because of the noise level. It runs loud.

Does a good job of cleaning the fabrics but does not always keep the load balanced; so may not spin after the rinse cycle. Have had to stop the washer several times because the tub is banging back and forth. Would not purchase again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
