I like the water level selections after having a washer that auto sense which was too little to wash the clothes clean. Low noise too. Spin cycle is a bit long but does a good job. Capacity good for two people. Lots of options on the choice of cycles.

Versatile and Efficient

The drum is very large which gives the clothes plenty of room to move around and can support a large load of jeans. The ability to set the water temperature, water level, type of soil and spin strength gives user flexibility and numerous choices. Having so many cycles is another feature that gives the freedom to dictate how clothes will be cleaned. It is very helpful to have the delicate cycle. The presets on the cycles are helpful but the ability to override them makes this washer versatile. This noise this model makes is low and soothing. The laundry comes out clean in a minimum amount of time. Being able to see into the washer helps user know that the water level is correct. One feature I like is the “drawer-like” dispenser for detergent and softener.

Great machine

Love my new washer. Read reviews and so far I have no problems . First thing I washed was my bed sheets and comforter on bulky mode. No problems. I like all the features it come with. I tried a couple to see what works best for my family of 4. Some reviews I read had problems with water levels, spin cycle not enough, balancing or noisy. I don’t agree with them. I keep water level on auto, max spin, and don’t think it’s any noisier than old machine. I even threw in soaked towels from my basement seeping and had zero balancing problems.

Tips for success

I've had my machine for 1 year. There are several good features about the machine which I like: water level and temperature control options; large capacity tub washes sheets (and comforters); low noise level. I gave this machine a 4 rather than a 5 for these reasons: I often go back and check the water level as the "auto" option doesn't always fill with enough water for the clothes to agitate in a decent depth of water. Also, the spin is not as fast as my prior machine, so the clothes finish with a higher moisture content at the end of the load. This has been somewhat alleviated by sorting loads by material, so cottons with cottons and nylons/quick dry materials together, as recommended by GE. I didn't have to do this before, and with load sizes easily adjusted, it's turned out to be not a big deal and improves the moisture content of the clothes and that's helped with the dry time.

Nice machine.

Leaving Maytag behind. 2 washers 2 dryers in 10 years on Maytag.
We chose to opt for the old agitator as the newer agitation style never seemed to do as good of a job. We have no regrets. This machine gets the clothes clean. It's so nice to feel clean towels again. Don't let the noise mongers get to you, it's quiet enough. I was worried about the noise but have been pleasantly surprised. I've never had a top of the line "claims quiet" machine, but it's quieter than my last 2. 5 days in, some 20+ loads, it stays balanced, spinning controlled, and works quickly. It seems you have to turn it off after a load via an off button. Otherwise a computer screen just scrolls the word "end". Haven't left a load unattended seeing as a plumbing disaster is involved in this washer buying adventure. Good capacity for full sized loads. The controls are alright but button longevity is in question for me. It does feel a little plasticy in terms of the upper interface. I'm sure it will be fine. Plenty of cycles to choose from. The only one missing is hand wash but isn't that an oxymoron in a machine anyway... 5 for now.

The product has exceeded my expectations. It washes a larger load than I am used to. The controls are easy to understand. It is a bit louder than I am used to. In the auto-soak, I wish it would continue washing instead of draining, where I have to schedule another wash cycle. Overall, I am well pleased so far with the washer.

We’re so glad you’re loving your washer just as much as we are!
The Soak Rinse feature is a standout—it helps reduce bacteria and viruses with a final cold soak when using color-safe liquid sanitizers. It boosts your detergent’s cleaning power and tackles tough odors, even on your most delicate laundry.
And the Deep Fill option gives you total control over the water level. Press once to add 3 extra gallons, or press and hold to fill the tub with a full 26 gallons—perfect for those extra-large or heavily soiled loads.
Thanks again for sharing—we love being part of your laundry routine!
