Two loads of laundry done. So far, so good! It's a little loud, but out last washer did not have an agitator. We just shut the laundry room door while it's running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Made in America, support the home team! Easy to read display with the remaining wash time and lots of settings to customize the wash. Cleans as good as you could want. I was hesitant about getting the agitator for risk of the fins catching on clothes, but happy to report to that the edges are all smooth and there are no gaps where clothes could catch. The lid is advertised as "soft close" but I do not consider it as such, it falls down without much resistance if you let go of it. The drum is also somewhat damp after the end of a load, I need to leave the lid open for it to dry out. Also wish the end of cycle chime was a bit louder. Remember to follow the instructions provided about keeping the drain pipe elevated and no more than 5" into the drain pipe, I had some mishaps due to my own installation error. Wish more/better hardware was included to support the drain pipe, I ended up having to buy my own.

Changed from another brand to GE. After doing just a couple loads through the washer, there is a noticeable difference in the cleanliness of the clothes. The programing of the washer is easy, and we are very happy with the results.
