This washing machine has been nothing but a nasty smelly problem. Within 3 months the washing machine had a nasty mildew smell. We have tried every type of cleaner, even what GE sent us, and nothing has worked. Even after I removed and cleaned the slime from under the agitator, it was back within about two weeks? Hard to feel like my clothes are getting clean when the washer smells like a nasty petri dish.

Great Washer, GE steps up again!

Product is great at the time of this review, granted we had it installed today, but have run several loads to try different settings. The only issue was the installers didn't check for machine level, so first load knocked in spin cycle. After I leveled it, issue solved. This being the case it's not the products fault. I have own many GE appliances, tried others, whirlpool, may tag, nothing is better than GE in my book. This replaced my old GE washer that lasted for many many years with lots of heavy military uniforms. Always came our clean as expected. If you read the booklet on operation of the appliance, it takes out the guess work and because very easy to use. I would recommend this product for purchase. The noise other people have commented about, yes if you don't level the machine.

Love the fact that you can pick the water level! My clothes smell so much better being able to have more water. It’s a little noisy but that doesn’t bother me. Love this washer!!!
