Simple but feels upgraded!

This is a simple washer with an upgraded feel! I knew I wanted a washing machine with simple features as I don’t do much special washing. This washer is great for that, but still feels a bit upgraded with the electronic controls. I really like having an agitator and a window on the top, too. I feel the agitator really works the clothes clean and I can see the wash at anytime through the window. My only complaint is that I’ve had the washer less than a month and the suspension rods seem to have broken already. I don’t do large or heavy loads often. In fact, if I have to do bulky items, I do them one at a time. However, I was washing a blanket and the spin cycle suddenly got very crazy and loud. The drum started spinning erratically and banging against the metal sides of the washer. I was able to get the blanket balanced in the drum and the spin cycle resumed like normal, but I don’t like that the washer couldn’t seem to handle a lightweight cotton blanket after less than a month.
Still overall happy with the washer! I would recommend for anyone wanting a simple machine, but still want an upgraded feel!

This is a newer version of our older GE washing machine, which lasted 8-9 years. The most useful new features for us is the "minutes remaining" indication, which allows us to plan other activities around doing laundry.
