I like this no frills washer! We wanted something that wasn’t too technical, was big enough to fit in our space, but also, small enough as to not take up too much room in our very small laundry area! I like that you have the option to either auto fill or pick your water level. We have had no problems this far and hopefully won’t for a very long time!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's OK. Washer is somewhat noisy during wash cycle. Loads need to be very well balanced to avoid thumping during spins.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

a good choice for the space I had

I wanted a top loader as I didn't like bending over my old front loader. Due to the space in my laundry I was limited in the models I could choose (27" or less). Somehow I didn't realize this was not a high efficiency machine. I thought all machines today were HE so this is disappointing.. However, once I got used to the machine I think it does a good job and holds twice as much as my old machine. (which definitely saves time and energy). I worry a bit if the agitator will be too hard on my clothes but I will wait and see.

This washer is awesome! This is the 2nd GE washer I have owned and wouldn't buy any other brand. I love all the washing options at my fingertips. The glass top is a great feature and I love the music it plays. Thanks GE!
