Hose is way to large and doesn’t even fit the clam

Our washer came without a drainage clamp to keep the hose from flying all over the place when draining, we went out and bought one not realizing the blue (talk about sticking out like a sore thumb) spiral drain hose is too larger for the clamp to even work. I guess it’s up to us to go out and purchase a drain hose that fits the clamp we had to purchase also. It’s nice and quiet though.

This is a very good machine so far. Read the instructions and you won't have any problems. This is most certainly not like the old machines you might be familiar with. It's much better. Will it last ten years or more? Only time will tell.

Glad we stuck with GE

We have only had the new washer for less than a week but have already washed about five loads of clothes. So far it’s been great. Our previous washer was also a GE topload agitator model so we stuck with a brand and style that we knew would work well for us. We like the more modern design and features of this new washer and think we made the right choice to stick with GE.
