Washes very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this washer. Definitely an upgrade from my old one. Is definitely quiet which I love. Installation was fast and easy. I love that it has capacity for larger loads like blankets. It’s very efficient and I’m able to connect with the WiFi which is a huge plus if you ask me. I love the ultra fresh vent system as well keeps the washer clean and fresh and not smelly.

So many great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent washing machine! We had it installed but it only took around 30 minutes total for them to complete from start to finish.
We are a family of 4 with two messy toddlers and are constantly doing laundry. It does a great job at getting clothes clean with using very little water or electricity. It’s really quiet considering how powerful it is. My sons bedroom is on the other side of the wall and it hasn’t kept him up while doing laundry when he naps. We have also been keeping the door closed between washes to test the ultra fresh vent system with order block and no funny smells! This is great because we always forget to keep the door open. The app is also nice to use because the washer is in the garage and we don’t have to keep going back and forth to check when the clothes are done. There are so many great features on this washer and we are really happy with it overall.

Great efficiency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the different wash cycles and have seen good results, especially on my comforter which is bulky, the wash is silent and the clothes come out almost dry, the delicate cycle is gentle on the clothes and my favorite is the quick wash, it has built in wifi, anti microbial technology built into components which I think is great if you've had a front-loading washing machine you know what it means to constantly clean the gasket. Installation is easy and with the technology it has, it doesn't require much maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation as easy as screwing in a light bulb and plugging the lamp in. This washer holds a ton of clothes and bulky items are washed in a simp. The washer that this replaced always left my work out clothes with a mangy smell but this washer machine gives them a nice clean, crisp smell. I love the ultra-fresh vent to help make sure it is left dry in between washes. The app helps know when your clothes are done to help save on energy so it is not left on. It is noisier than our older one but I think it is because the motor in this machine spins your clothes super fast, so that is fine with me. If you are looking for a great and reliable washer then this is the one for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 15 years of owning front load washers and putting in all of the hard work of cleaning and airing out to prevent build up and horrible smells, I am so happy that GE made this machine with the UltraFresh Vent System allowing me to keep the door closed, and the fact that this washer includes Microban Antimicrobial Technology in the gasket, detergent drawer, and drainage tube where bacteria tend to grow. I am a busy mother of 4 and do at least one load of laundry every single day, and I don't want to spend any more of my time wiping down a machine with vinegar, and trying to remember to keep the door open and detergent drawer pulled out so that it can all air out between loads. With this machine, after a load is done and you open the door to put your laundry in the dryer, if you close the door again, it starts notifying you with a polite sound and flashing the UltraFresh Vent button to remind you to turn on that option, or you can just keep the door open to air it out. Your choice. With the UltraFresh Vent option, it runs when the washer is empty and free of laundry, it opens vents, pulls in air, and spins the drum inside to create airflow within. This is a large capacity washer, allowing me to stuff even more into it, saving me a lot of time, especially on weekends when I have to wash everyone's bedding and towels. It runs very quietly, the loudest part is when it is filling with water. The sounds are even quiet and polite little sounds that I enjoy. This new washer is a lifesaver for me and I can't recommend it enough!

Efficient, beautiful with odor fighting technology

We have been in the market for a while and I feel like I’ve researched til I’m blue in the face, so this machine came at the suspiciously perfect time! This washer was a breeze to get setup and I had my first load of laundry tumbling within the hour. It comes with your usual standards for a front load washer but with some additional perks.
With this machine and the OdorBlock you right have to worry about the classic front load stink. No more leaving the door open after a load. There is a cycle you run quickly that does away with any leftover moisture, which I think it’s super convenient.
We have washed multiple loads of laundry, towels, a comforter, you name it and this machine handled them all with ease. The drum is spacious and the machine is super smart. It will sense the level of dirt on your clothes and adjust the times for you.
There is also an app which is nice if you’re into that sort of thing. I work from home so I can monitor mine from my office chair lol!
I am so impressed with this machine and breathing a sigh of relief because I know that I can count on GE to last.

Non reversible front door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has a lot of pros but the cons are really bothering me.
I switched from a top load which I thought would hold more and be more balanced. So far I was wrong. This front load holds the same if not more. But more importantly, it spins out better and more evenly. Even with heavy bedding and towels.
It has an app I originally thought was dumb but it’s so helpful. I know when each load is complete and I can tell my kids when to switch their laundry. It eliminates a lot of downtime.
I don’t like that it isn’t clear how to use powder detergent. It can go in the drum OR in the “liquid only” section if you flip the divider.
There isn’t much of an explanation about the sanitize option. Does it take liquid only? Is it like oxiclean which is usually powder or the Lysol sanitizer liquid or bleach only? Where does it go?
Where do scent beads go?
Most importantly the door. It opens to the left ONLY. It is not interchangeable which makes my current setup difficult. There doesn’t seem to be an original or OEM kit. The wires are only built into one side. It’s honestly stupid. The guide online doesn’t even clarify that this is a model without a reversible door. It just says some doors can’t do it.

We'd like to assist you with your washer. For this unit, you can only use liquid or powder HE detergents and additives in the dispenser drawer. Laundry detergent packets should only be added directly to the wash basket following the manufacturer’s directions. You can find this information on page 16 of the owner's manual. Here is the link:
