Great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this washer to replace a Samsung that wasn't getting our clothes clean. First wash of whites we ran through it and the difference was clear, they came out brighter and fresher than they have in years with our old washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This washer is great. I had a top load and loved it until the transmission started leaking shortly after I purchased it, when I had the maintenance man come to fix it, he said it would cost as much as I purchased it for. Since I had it more than a year the warranty was no good. He told me that the best one on the market was this one and that even though top loads are great to start, the transmission goes on them within the first 5 years. So I went back to a front load GE after following up on my own research and reading many reviews. This is a great product for the price.

Mold a big problem in the laundry products drawer.

The drawer is full of mold…I pulled it out and inside is full of mold that you cannot get to easily!! I got my arm stuck trying to clean down inside where the drawer goes. I clean and dry the drawer when the detergent gets low. The drawer is full of water anytime I use fabric softener. I only use the recommended detergent Tide. The drawer is the same blue as the gasket making you think it also has Microban. My clothes smell from the mold and I am concerned since I have asthma. Very expensive and mold is still a problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
