GE Is Amazing

Tried Samsung washer/dryer. The sounds too loud, washer door wouldn't close, and dryer sounds like a tennis shoe was in drum even empty!
Thank you GE, we now have a quiet dryer, a washer will reasonable soft chime and a door magnet setting for moisture release! 10 Stars

Couldn't reverse the door 😔

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was disappointed that the door was not reversible as advertised. The hardware is reversible but the wiring for the door lock is not present on the opposite side as shown in the video, so it won't lock and be operational that way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great washing machine with finicky touch controls

So far after 2 wks use, the washer works pretty well. The tumble wash feature and spin cycle really removes most of the wash moisture, shortening dry time. The touch controls can be finicky and sometimes unresponsive to touch when trying to change settings.

So far the washer is working perfectly as mentioned in the reviews. I requested for ours to be stacked for more place in our garage.
I do like it because it is user friendly, one huge knob to navigate with. I already notice that after the wash is completed, it use the correct amount of water for washing.

Large Capacity. Read Instructions thoroughly!

Large capacity. Lots of choices that may be confusing to even an intelligent person, however, I suggest reading the manual. You have to dig for the answers. The odor control vent runs approximately 8 hours. No one tells you that at the store so it's not automatic. The washer is quiet for the most part but it goes back and forth. You cannot use pods I don't think and I tried studying how to use detergent but it's too confusing. I will be contacting GE to ask exactly how. Trust me, I read the instructions but they were unclear. I tried to add a picture but system wouldn't allow. It does look as pictured in ad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would like to help and provide some guidance. Laundry detergent packets can be added directly to the wash basket following the manufacturer’s directions. Information regarding this can be found in the manual page 16 at the link below.

Door does NOT have adjustable swing feature!

Please amend your specifications regarding this machine as having an adjustable swing door. This model DOES NOT and unfortunately, this feature was one of the primary reasons I purchased it.
