Love this appliance so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this machine less than one month. I love the new vent technology that allows us to run after washes to dry the inside. I am hopeful that this will solve the mold/mildew smell long term. I also wonder if continuous use of this feature will lessen the life of the machine, but I guess that remains to be seen. The only issue I have is that there is not a louder notification when the cycle is complete. So far, I really like this for the value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this GE front load washer hoping for a reliable and quiet machine, but unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to expectations. From the beginning, it developed a squeaking noise during wash and spin cycles. At first, I thought it might just be the load, but the sound has only gotten more noticeable over time, even with small or balanced loads.
The washer does clean clothes well, and I like its efficiency and modern look, but the constant squeak takes away from the overall experience. It’s especially frustrating given the price point and GE’s reputation. I’ve checked to make sure it’s level and not overloaded, but the squeak persists.
If you’re sensitive to noise or looking for something whisper-quiet, I’d recommend considering other options. I wish I had known about this issue before buying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are more than glad to assist with the sounds your washer is making. We recommend unplugging the unit for 5 to 10 minutes and plugging it back in. You may also need to clean the pump filter, as this can cause unusual sounds. Never thought I would like a wifi washer, but it really helps with reminders in life's busy task list of daily tasks.

We like all of the run modes and most of all love the venting system as our last washer did not smell fantastic!
