horrible dryer

I just had this dryer installed yesterday 7/12/25 , not only is there a metal scraping sound as the drum turns but it doesn't dry my clothes. Three separate loads of laundry and not one has been dry at the end of the cycle. After 79 minute of drying time there were still damp spots all through out the clothes. This is a horrible machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to lend a hand with your dryer. Foreign objects caught in the drum front seal and worn or loose drum slides can cause a metal scraping noise as the drum rotates. Loud Noise

Unfortunately the dryer we have purchased is very loud. We bought it because our previous LG stopped spinning and we didn’t have time to wait for a repairman. The loud noise comes and goes and the salesman stopped by to check on it and said he believes the drum is off level. He said we could bring it back and he would repair it in his shop but we haven’t had time within the past two weeks and our laundry room wasn’t large enough to disassemble it. Besides that, I think it’s a great appliance, however I have to give it the rating based on my experience.
