Performance is great, no complaints

This dryer is just a little smaller than my last one. But it does not perform like it. I have dried from small loads to large ones. My clothes and bedding come out dry, fluffy and no wrinkles. Love it
I would recommend this to a friend!

No matter what setting I put it on. It takes 2 times to get anything dry. It’s a piece of crap. Hate it

We want to help with the drying performance of your unit. This model has Eco Dry, which is designed to save energy and comes on by default. When Eco Dry is on, it’s normal for the load to be slightly damp when the cycle is finished. If you haven’t already, we recommend turning Eco Dry off and selecting a higher dryness level like More Dry. You can find additional troubleshooting for the load not being dry at the end of the cycle here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058.
We do see that you’ve been working with a member of our team to resolve the issue with your unit’s drying performance. If the issue continues after troubleshooting, we recommend continuing to work with us directly on this.

Bad Experience
on June 12, 2026
Posted by: Aammyy1
I purchased this dryer to replace my previous dryer of 11 years. I’ve had the worse experience yet. The dryer lasted about 12 months. It just will not heat to dry the load properly. It’s very inconsistent. Bodewell has come out to service it 4 times already and. cannot seem to fix it for good. It takes 2- 3 hours for one load to dry properly.

Good replacement for a 25 yr old GE dryer

Good capacity. Good features and quiet. The sensor drying feature is not perfect but when the timed setting is activated, clothing dries very well. The light feature is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Response from geappliances.comBy DiannaGE_AppliancesMarch 20, 2026
We would like to provide guidance with the dry performance of the dryer. The performance of this dryer will vary based on multiple factors such as type of heat used (gas versus electric), the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. We have provided some tips to help with the dryer not properly drying here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058. There is also additional troubleshooting in the manual on page 12 at the link-https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--U8h21IVx--/80509adbcc4074029478592026bc8b47388dd5a6.pdf.
