Timed Dry works properly. Normal settings will finish early leaving clothes wet.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this dryer. While we are happy that the Timed Dry cycle is operating properly, the overall drying performance will vary based on multiple factors such as the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. We recommend the use of a solid metal vent pipe 4" in diameter for adequate operation. 4" diameter flexible metal venting may be used but will increase the drying time. We don't recommend the use of flexible, white, plastic vent pipe. This type of vent pipe can collapse and restrict the airflow, causing lint to build up inside the dryer. We also advise removing and cleaning the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen.\n\nWe have provided some additional troubleshooting tips to help with the drying of your items here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058\n

We'd like to help you with your dryer. We recommend performing an electronic reset by turning off the unit for 3 to 5 minutes and turn it back on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An amazing product from a brand you can trust. Packed with so many features as well as the large capacity and energy saving function. This was a welcomed replacement to an 18 year old antiquated dryer which had seen its last leg. Its very quiet when running and the efficiency of the operation of the dryer is amazing. It will make laundry day no longer a chore but an adventure. Each morning my wife uses the dryer to fluff the wrinkles out of her uniform and the quick dry feature and instant heat will allow her to get out of the house more effortlessly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several weeks of working with all the setting the clothes never dry the 1st cycle. It appears the system used to sense if clothes are dried doesn’t work. It runs through the cycle and the clothes are not dried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer was installed yesterday. Everything has been working great until we noticed an issue with our clothes that have draw string cords. After drying, cords are severely tangled and have also gotten stuck inside the dryer which has forced us to cut the cords with scissors in order to remove that piece of clothing. So bad! Not sure what to do. Shouldn’t be an issue we should be worried about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] interesting product - smaller on the outside and larger on the inside.(reminiscent of the Blue Box Dr. Who) wonderful.. works beautifully... so far. nice companion to the GE washer - easy panel and button choices.
