Overall dissapointed

Capacity is very good. We find the structure to be poor. The door is so flimsy that you have to push at the latching point to get it to close, The lint filter feels like it will break each time it's pulled, The overall unit weight, is far less than our 10 year old Maytag, which indicates a reduction in strength. I believe we will soon regret this purchase. It seems the venting capacity has been increased to a point that the temperature does not allow prompt drying. A second cycle is often needed.

We would like to clarify some information regarding the durability of your dryer. Our products are designed with durability in mind, and we use high-quality materials to manufacture our appliances. If you ever need assistance with your product, we’re here to help.
To help you with the drying performance of your unit, we recommend sorting your load properly, thick, heavy, bulky fabrics need more dry time than lightweight fabrics. Additionally, we recommend cleaning the lint filter every load. You can find additional tips at the following article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend reaching out to our Bodewell service team at 1-833-426-3393 to schedule an appointment.
Not happy with dryer. Yes has the capacity but will not dry a large load. Need to run a load several times. Questionable if sensors run properly. I would return this dryer if I could. Would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never dries in one load. Always have to run it twice if not more.

We'd like to assist with your dryer not drying loads properly. Firstly, let's make sure we are cleaning the lint filter before every load, as well as matching the control settings to the type of load you are drying. You may also want to make sure the duct is clean and not blocked or bent. It also helps to divide the items into heavy and light piles as well.

I am so disappointed. We literally got this dryer delivered yesterday. First load in and I hear this loud metal scraping noise. I take the laundry out and start it up again, and still hear the noise. The drum is not aligned right or something and is hitting some metal internally. How does a brand new dryer do this? Beyond irritated. Now I get to wait for a repair man to come out at the end of the week to "fix" My brand new dryer that I have used one time. And don't get me started on how not easy it was to schedule the service. And was told it was out of warranty and will need to pay?!! How? I just bought it a day ago. So beyond angry.

We also love the large 7.4 cu. ft. capacity of your dryer! We are happy to know that your laundry days will be much easier thanks to your dryer!
Clothes still seem to be damp when using the sensor drying feature

We are happy to provide guidance with this dryer. The drying performance will vary based on multiple factors such as the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. Using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. We also advise removing and cleaning the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen.
