It's like the heating element isn't working or is dying. It barely gets warm and takes two cycles to dry even light clothes. Not so happy.

We want to help you with your dryer. Your dryer has a feature called Eco Dry/eDry. This feature is available on available for Bulky Items, Towels/Sheets, Cottons, Mixed Load, Jeans, Casuals and Delicates. When the eDry button is pressed, cycle settings change to reduce the total energy consumption of the selected sensor cycle.
Cycle times will change when eDry is selected. The eDry option will default to "ON" for Cottons. For optimal energy savings, turn eDry on. For optimal drying times, turn eDry off.
If turning off the eDry doesn't help with your clothes drying better, please reach out to our Bodewell service team by calling 1-833-426-3393 M-F 8:00-8:00 EST.
The dryer is very loud. When I use the sensor setting, the clothes are rarely dry when it’s done. I also don’t think the dryer heats very hot compared to my last dryer. Overall, very disappointed.

We’re happy to help with the sound level and heating performance of your dryer. We understand you’re comparing it to your previous unit, and it’s important to note that newer models can operate differently due to updated design standards, energy efficiency requirements, and production improvements. As a result, the heating performance may feel different, even though the dryer is functioning as intended.
Some vibration and noise during operation are normal. To help minimize sound, make sure the dryer is placed on a level surface and adjust the leveling legs as needed until it is evenly balanced. For steps on how to level, see page 16 of the Installation Instructions here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--f3_t_42Y--/yppnc3ffo7zkfp91lbcs.pdf
When combining heavy and light fabrics in a load, it's best to choose the 'More Dry' option. Be sure to clean the lint filter before every load and match the control settings to the load you are drying. So far it’s performing as expected and as desired. I’ve only processed about 15-20 loads so it is way too early for a 5 Star rating. That would take about 3000 loads. I’m optimistic at this point.
Dry clothes fast and very efficient. Quiet as a church mouse! I bought the matching washer and we could not be happier on the performance and speed of both. Money well spent!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We’re glad to hear you appreciate the quiet drying performance, efficiency, etc. Among the dryer’s other great features, we particularly appreciate the My Cycle setting. This setting allows you to simplify the laundry process by saving your favorite settings as a preset for future use.
We’re confident the washer and dryer will both be serving your laundry needs well for many years to come. Enjoy!
