Really does the job

Numerous settings so you can choose the right one for your garments. Dries quickly. I like the wrinkle guard setting, but I can’t usually hear the tone when it has finished. Tried increasing the sound, but not sure it worked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing!!!

Absolutely love the dryer! While I didn’t get the matching washer because I had one that already worked well. This dryer is not loud, doesn’t shake or rattle, has so many drying settings, and the glass door on the front I get so many compliments on! I also wired it myself and did the complete duct vent work from scratch as the apartment I moved into was newly renovated, it was my first time doing both and was a breeze!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love both the washer & dryer. They work very well. With the features both of them have, the price was fair.

Don’t buy. Waste of money

This dryer is awful. The heat is inconsistent so one load dries just fine the next load you have to dry 3 times before it actually dries anything. The lint trap doesn’t trap lint so you constantly have to clean out the dryer area below the tap and then disconnect the vent to clean all of that out. And yes I clean the trap every single time. Past the window to return so I am stuck with it

We want to help with your dryer's performance. Please ensure the dryer is connected to the correct power supply, as using a lower volt connection can significantly increase the drying times. proper venting and load size are also important for drying performance. Additional information and troubleshooting steps can be found in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058.

Long Drying Time
on July 2, 2026
Posted by: Groub64
Dryer takes forever to dry towels and or blankets. Old dryer only took about 45 minutes, this one takes about 80 minutes. The default for towels is 36 minutes and I have to do it about 3 cycles to get my towels dry.

We want to assist and provide some guidance about the long dry time you are experiencing. The dry time for dryers can vary based on the type of heat used such as gas vs electric, the size of the load and the type of fabric. For example, cotton fabrics hold more water than synthetic fabrics. We have an article from our website that has more details at the link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=34627&_gl=1*.
Using the proper vent material and making sure that the ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer and can also affect dry time. We recommend checking for an obstruction in the ductwork and making sure the outside wall cap or damper is operating easily. If flexible ducting is used, be sure that it is not kinked and it is installed properly. We have this article from our website that has more details at the link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058&_gl=1*.

It does what it's supposed to do
on June 28, 2026

I like the dryer. It sure what it's supposed to do. It's a lot of buttons, but I can change the timing. It's really big on the inside. On things is that the lint filter collects lint on the bottom of the filter hole. I can't get to it. Drives me insane.

My new GE Dryer
on June 27, 2026

I like the capacite, controls, performance, but the sensor cuts off to quick and my clothes are not dry so I have to run it another cycle to dry them....The venting is okay.

We want to assist with the drying performance of your dryer. We recommend ensuring the lint filter is cleaned before each load and verifying that the exhaust duct is not obstructed or restricted. Load size can also affect performance. Additional troubleshooting can be found on page 12 of the manual here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--U8h21IVx--/80509adbcc4074029478592026bc8b47388dd5a6.pdf.
