This dryer was made to save energy not dry clothes. The only way your clothes get dry is on the timed setting. Lots of money for little satisfaction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your dryer not operating as expected can be caused by multiple factors, and we would like to provide guidance. Drying performance will vary based on multiple factors such as the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. Using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. We recommend the use of a solid metal vent pipe 4" in diameter for adequate operation. 4" diameter flexible metal venting may be used but will increase the drying time. We do not recommend the use of flexible, white, plastic vent pipe. This type of vent pipe can collapse and restrict the airflow, causing lint to build up inside the dryer. We also advise removing and cleaning the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen. We have provided some additional tips to help with the drying of your items in the article here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058.
Not very pleased with the dryer. It has a vibrating sound and in general much louder than my old dryer, which was a Whirlpool.

We want to help you with the sound level of your dryer. We recommend not overloading your unit and make sure that its properly leveled to an even floor. You can adjust the leveling of your dryer by following the instructions on page 16 of the owner's manual here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--f3_t_42Y--/yppnc3ffo7zkfp91lbcs.pdf
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
Good capacity for what I need it for. Lint trap a little on the small side. About half the size of what I had before, but works well. Nice that the light inside stays on longer than my last dryer so I can see the clothes while folding. Dries just fine.
we like it a , a great improvement of what we had before.

We also agree this dryer is a great improvement over previous models, especially with its Sensor Dry feature that continuously monitors moisture and temperature to help prevent over-drying and protect clothes. The My Cycle setting is another convenient upgrade, letting you save your preferred settings as a preset for quicker, easier use every time. On top of that, the Eco Dry option helps reduce energy use by lowering drying temperatures on select cycles while still maintaining solid performance.
This dry doesn't dry towels or clothes very well. It takes 2 to 3 days to get things dry.

We'd like to help with the performance of your dryer. We recommend ensuring that the ducting is free of clogs or kinks and has been installed properly. You can find the ducting requirements starting on page 13 of the installation instructions here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--f3_t_42Y--/yppnc3ffo7zkfp91lbcs.pdf. Thick fabrics, such as towels, require more time to dry than lightweight fabrics. We recommend separating heavy items from lightweight items and ensuring the load has adequate room to tumble in the drum for the best drying performance. You can find additional troubleshooting here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058

We want to help with your dryer making different sounds. There are normal sounds that you will hear from your dryer. If it squeaks when it starts up and then a few seconds of operation it stops that is considered normal. Also, you will be able to hear the drum turning.
