New but Broken

Plugged in the Dryer, made sure it is level and pushed start….makes the most awful clunking sound and door is extremely hard to open and close. Does not work. So disappointed….Lowes will not take responsibility! Trying to schedule repair with GE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

I'm disappointed in this dryer. It feels flimsy, the door doesn't shut unless you bend over and push it at the bottom and it frequently takes two cycles to dry everything. It's also the noisiest dryer I've owned. It doesn't match the quality of our other GE appliances.

To lesson the amount of time it takes to get items dry, we recommend ensuring the lint filter is cleaned after or before every cycle, and that Eco Dry is turned off. Loud operation can be caused by an unleveled dryer. Please ensure the dryer is properly leveled for quieter operation. Our new dryer

Only been a few weeks since we bought this dryer but so far so good. Love the lint trap, so much easier to clean then our last one. This model doesn't come with a buzzer to let us know when the load is done so we've had to get used to that, not a real problem.
