Terrible drying

This dryer is terrible. No matter how I set it, anything heavier than sheets takes at least 2 cycles. It is less than a year old
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist with the drying performance of your dryer by offering some helpful tips.
Try not to mix heavy, hard-to-dry items with lightweight items, as this can cause drying difficulty. Remove and clean the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen. Also, using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. I sent my dryer back to the store. Defective.
Made terrible screeching noise when cycles started.
If I paused it too long, it would run an error code and I would need to shut it off and restart it.
