Had an older washer and dryer before and upgraded to this GE. What a blessing. It’s been amazing and it has exceeded our expectations. It’s huge and we love the agitator!

Drying experience is very efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet, efficient and easy to use. My previous dryer was loud and inefficient. Had to repeat dry cycles . Just used for the first time and so far so good . Looking forward to a long happy usage .

Great capacity, doesn’t dry properly

I was very excited about this dryer after having a dryer for 13 years but I do not find that it even dries my clothes in the first try unless you use high heat. I used to dry everything in Low heat, more dry. You can’t even do Medium heat/more dry with this dryer. Having to run it twice wastes electricity and if the clothes sit and someone isn’t home and half dry they all smell and have to be rewashed. I will never buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that your dryer is not operating as expected. Drying performance will vary based on multiple factors such as the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. Using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. We recommend the use of a solid metal vent pipe 4" in diameter for adequate operation. 4" diameter flexible metal venting may be used but will increase the drying time. We don't recommend the use of flexible, white, plastic vent pipe. This type of vent pipe can collapse and restrict the airflow, causing lint to build up inside the dryer. We also advise removing and cleaning the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen. Loving my new GE electric dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new GE dryer is nice. I don't hear noise. FYI, from the reviews I have read make sure the ECO dry is off. Your clothes will not dry good with this on. The best info, in the reviews before purchasing.
