Love this dryer

So far I really love this dryer. I have had it for a month and it works great. My ONLY complaint is that the ending cycle tone is so quiet that you can't hear it. I have it set on the loudest volume and I can barely hear it when I am in the next room. Other than that minor issue I love it and would absolutely buy it again. Good price and large capacity.

Great So Far

Up to this point, we love the washer and dryer. We have purchased a GE clothes washer and dryer that are replacing Westinghouse machines that are at least 25 to 30 years old.
The most outstanding feature is the fact that when drying items, my wife goes down once to load the dryer and once to bring the dried clothes back upstairs ! !

Hardworking & efficient

We've had a few dryers over the last 28 years. This dryer has, so far, surpassed all of them. It has no difficulty (so far) handling the weight of bulky items like wet towels or bedding. The different drying options are fabulous and dried them in one go instead of multiple cycles like our old dryers. And you can't even tell it's running...not a peep. And the finished "alarm" is a low- sounding twinkle so it's not disruptive or loud. This is great for working from home. Overall, a great product that has surpassed our expectations. We are very happy with our purchase so far.

Drying time excessive

Use the Timed Dry if you want your clothes dry. This seems to be the only setting that works.

We're happy to provide information regarding the drying time. We recommend sorting the clothes according to size and fabric type. Please remove and clean the lint filter each cycle. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen. NOT DRY

The automatic cycles are not getting the clothes dry. I end up having to add timed dry at the end of a cycle to get everything dry. It doesn't seem to heat at the same level as my old LG dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
