[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this dishwasher for a few months, and it does the job well, and dishes are clean. The auto air option is also helpful in keeping the dishes dry.
One minor area of improvement is the rack design which is quite plates-centric. It can be improved to better accomodate kitchen utensils of various sizes. The top cutlery rack is nice but also limits the height of utensils in the middle rack. Overall, based on my initial experience, this is an excellent dishwasher by Bosch.

(Mostly) A Really Good and Quiet Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have been very pleased with the Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher. I usually use the 60-minute wash and have not had any issues with dishes not coming out clean, although I typically rinse all dishes well before placing in the dishwasher. I really like the utensil rack on the top rack and appreciate that there is still a small utensil holder on the bottom rack for larger utensils. This dishwasher also has room for a lot of dishes, it just took me a few times to figure out the best way to utilize the space. This dishwasher is very quiet and you can see a red light on the floor indicating it is running.
I rated this four stars for a few reasons. The racks don't feel as sturdy and roll in and out as well as I would expect from an expensive dishwasher, which gives me some concern for the longevity of the racks, only time will tell. I also have some issues with the design of the middle rack (used for glasses and cups). The right side row is very narrow between the tines and the side wall, only the thinnest glasses fit on that row. The shelves on this rack are more of a hindrance than useful. The slots on the shelf for wine glasses can't be used, they are so shallow that wine glasses tip forward rather than resting safely back in the slot. I removed one of the two shelves, thinking that I could still use the other shelf to place small bowls or lids on, but I will probably also remove that one because it is very difficult to stack anything under it, in front of it, or even next to it. The shelf doesn't flip up so you can't easily put things under it and then secure it in place. It does flip down, but the row is so narrow that virtually nothing fits well in front of it. On a positive note, the middle shelf does have a wide middle section where you can stack bowls, cups or whatever. It is very versatile.
Overall I can work with those small issues and I would recommend this dishwasher.

Best Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I compared many dishwasher bands and models before deciding to purchase a Bosch 500. I will rate the wash options, build quality and quietness five stars. You have to hear one operate before you will believe how quiet it operates throughout a complete cleaning cycle. I am not one to buy a cheap appliance and expect it to last more than five years. My thanks goes to the Bosch company for producing an excellent product.

There are many flexible features on each rack that give versatility to each load. I also like the cycle options available. And the best part is, it is very quiet!

3rd Bosch dishwasher in 20 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this Bosch 500 because it does NOT have crystal dry like both previous Bosch dishwashers. Crystal Dry durability sucked.
Ths Bosch 500 is quiet, features a very good third tray for silverware, cleans dishes well. After 2 months, controls are still hard to navigate. Internet connectivity sounds good, but does very little to help controls. I give it 3.75 stars out of 5.
