I have had this dishwasher for 9 months and the tracks have fallen off the wall, the top rack has fallen. There is rust in my new dishwasher.

Long Cycles Poor Cleaning
on March 17, 2020

This dishwasher runs for a very long time using the ProWash cycle and dishes do not come out that clean. My previous dishwasher ran for a much shorter time and cleaned much better. I removed the third rack in that it severely limits the capacity of the upper rack and is difficult to slide in. Sure it is energy efficient, but thats a poor trade off for poor cleaning. I rinse my dishes, so there should not be a problem. It is also loud when filling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an older panel-ready KitchenAide from 2005, and we replaced it with this one. With an experienced installer, our old panel fit just fine. The new dishwasher did stick out a bit and some padding behind the dishwasher had to be removed to make it fit flush like our older one. We've had this dishwasher for a bit now. This dishwasher is quiet, cleans the dishes really well. I love the ProClean option which lets the dishwasher decide what level of cleaning the dishes need; so far it has worked really well. We still haven't gotten the hang of loading it, so we run it often since we don't know how to fit more in. Our large plates load at a slant, which probably helps with cleaning. Dishes always come out clean and dry, even the plastics on the top shelf. There is a light in the dishwasher which is kind of nice. If you keep in the third top rack, the middle rack can't handle taller glasses or water bottles, etc., so that's a bit of a trade-off. The silverware holder on the newer dishwasher holds a lot of silverware--but our table knives kept flopping over instead of standing up; we put the cutlery holder from our old dishwasher in the new one instead, and like that better. Our only real dislike of this dishwasher is that there is an alarm noise when the dishwasher is done, which cannot be disabled. We turned off all other noises, but the "essential" ones can't be turned off--apparently the dishes being done is an "essential" alarm. It has woken us up in the middle of the night when we run the dishwasher while we sleep; we have to keep our bedroom door closed to not hear the alarm. There is a blue light you can see when it is washing, a red light when it is drying, and a white light when it is done, which is helpful---the alarm when done not so much. Actually we really like this dishwasher; we are happy with how it looks, how quiet it is and how well things are cleaned. Thrilled our old panel fit.

Plastic Everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I built a kitchen around these specific appliances with custom doors. This dishwasher did not last 2 years. There are several plastic connections that break off, and now the top rack is in a closet. Also the silverware holder is a disaster - more poorly designed broken plastic. Look for reviews from customers that have had this more than a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adjustable lock tabs on sliding bracket for plates doesn’t actual engage, it won’t hold a position, Washer is very quiet until the cycle is complete when smoke alarm sounding buzzer goes off at 68db well over specs. No option to disable.

Thanks for the review. In the Use and Care Guide, there are steps on how to disable the tones on the Dishwasher. Please refer to page 12 for your reference. Hope this helps!
