Air filter

Bought this refrigerator in June of this year, can not get information about the air filter.
Air filter still has star foam in it. No way I can get it out, need to know if it is removable, Please advise.

Ice maker problem

Purchased the refrigerator the middle of June (new home) and became aware that the ice maker jams on a daily basis. Reading the instruction manual under heading of "Problem Solver", I learned that I should switch the ice setting from "cube" to "crushed" than back to "cubed". This "quick fix" works about 50% of the time. If this does not work I stick a long wooden spoon handle in the ice storage to unjam. Worst ice maker I have ever owned. Not user friendly...a pain when guests try to obtain ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 1 month ago and couldn't be happier with it. We moved into a new condo where all of the other appliances were Whirlpool. The refrigerator matches beautifully. Our new kitchen is small so we wanted the counter depth feature which works well. Both the freezer and refrigerator are spacious with more space than my old side-by-side with the same cubic feet. The ice maker and water dispenser work well. I hope Whirlpool continues to make side-by-side models, since ergonomically they are much better for the back than having the entire freezer on the bottom. With side-by-sides it's possible to keep frequently-used refrigerator and freezer items at or above waist-level, where there is no choice but to keep bending with the freezer on the bottom.
