My sister bought a whirlpool refrigerator for the reputation. Whirlpool once was a product you could count on, not any more. Her refrigerator has been a nightmare since day one the company has not backed there product at all.DO Not buy this PERIOD...

Defected refrigerator

I will like to start by saying I will give this refrigerator a -1 star. But because that's not possible I gave it a one. The refrigerator door once it's open it's swings open at full speed by itself shifting all the drinks that are located in the door section. I have wasted numerous days and hours with repair technicians that can't fix the problem. Whirlpools states that you need to guide the door and hold it at all times. All my guess have gotten a good scare when they open the refrigerator door. I know and believe this is a faulty refrigerator and whirlpool will not stand behind their product and replace it with a different one. This will be the last time I ever by Whirlpool appliances. The top hinge and door was replaced seven months ago and at this time the door has a crack on the top hinge. Unbelievable.....

Disappointed Refrigerator Cheaply Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased with Our New Home. Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Never Worked. The plastic on the side rails is cheap and fragile when moving the postion of one rail it cracked. Paid a lot of money for this Refrigerator and got a cheap product in return. Don't purchase this Refrigerator not worth the price you pay for it.

Not only has the water and ice maker completely stopped working twice and the refrigerator is only 3 years old but there is NO customer service at all at Whirlpool despite my constant attempts at getting some satisfaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom two tray does not pull out far enough to put the vegetable into the tray. From outside, it looks great, but for housewife usage, it is not practical. We have been buying Whirlpool refrigerator before, we are very happy with them, but not this time. The bad model is WRS973CIDMOO. If you can exchange this model to other more practical model for us, that will be great.
