does not work right out of the box

Purchased and installed 8/30/19. Unit at factory setting of 37 degrees for refrigerator and 0 degrees for the freezer. Refrigerator temp has not dropped below 46 degrees for the refrigerator and 10 degrees for the freezer. The front of the panel that separates the refrigerator section from the freezer is hot to the touch, reading 125 degrees on a thermometer.
2nd complaint, why does one have to enter a nickname to submit a review and then have the nick name rejected because it's already been used??? Have tried 10 nicknames and all have been used, guess Whirlpool does not want negative reviews. Poor planing on whirlpool's part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice fridge, but small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cabinet maker was adamant that we get a counter depth fridge with our new kitchen. BUT, I didn't realize it was going to be such a sacrifice on space. Many of the features are nice and I don't dislike it, but wish it were just a little wider to compensate for the depth we lost. We've had great luck with Whirlpool appliances in the past, I hope this one holds up as well as those have!

Nice Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance was the model offered by Tull Brothers for our new retirement home construction. Love the external electronic door panel and water dispenser. Cubic footage is quite adequate for two. Wish the shelves were adjustable and pulled out.

Spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are delighted with this refrigerator. It is surprisingly spacious for a counter-depth refrigerator. We did add a full sized shelf in the freezer and a lower door bin in the refrigerator.The refrigerator runs quietly, has nice lighting, has quality shelves and bins, and is attractive. It is more expensive than some, but definitely not in the stratosphere. We are delighted with it and would buy the same one again in a heart-beat.The water/ice dispenser inset functions really well and has ample room for filling larger/taller containers. The ice container in the door allows for noticeably more room in the freezer itself.We were concerned about whether the width would fit in a 36" opening (exact). The width is actually 35-3/4", so that wasn't a problem. If you dig though manuals on the website you can find the same number.
