Bosch exceeds expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher we have used. It cleans the dishes and utensils really well. The features and rack configuration help organize loads for the best cleaning results. The operating light, drying function, quiet operating, auto open when done, and overall efficiency are all great features. The sleek lines of the SS door adds to the look of the kitchen.

Solid Machine (but not without flaws?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time owning a Bosch dishwasher as I've had some premium and non-premium brands in the past. Overall, it does a very good job at cleaning. I needed to get accustomed to current drying technology but after a learning curve on proper loading, everything dries thoroughly. Also, it's very quiet and I appreciate the red light shining on the floor signifying the unit is on.
However, one recurring problem is that when changing a program (e.g. normal to auto) occasionally it does not work. The new program lights up for one sec and then goes back to the other program. No other features can be changed. The only work around is to reset the machine by holding the Power button down for 4 seconds. Since having the new dishwasher for 4 weeks, it needed to be reset 4 times.
Overall, a solid machine but hope a firmware update will correct the problem.

Almost perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love my new Bosch dishwasher in the 500 series. I love the top shelf and the adjustability of the middle shelf. I wish the instructions for use included how to move some of the adjustable parts on the bottom shelf. I think I figured out the middle shelf adjustments but so far I have not figured out the bottom. I love the fact that the door pops open when the cycle is complete.

2nd Bosh Dishwasher

When I upgraded from a domestic brand to Bosch in my previous home, I had absolutely no regrets — the difference in performance was immediately noticeable, from superior cleaning to remarkably quiet operation. What pleasantly surprised me was that the buyer of my home later mentioned that seeing Bosch appliances gave them confidence that we had taken great care of the house. When I began remodeling my current home last fall, Bosch appliances were the very first thing I made sure to secure.

Cleans well but could be more adjustable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the dishwasher for a month now. It replaced an LG that I loved but wasn't reliable. I took the advice to go back to Bosch.
Overall it's a very good dishwasher, the dishes come out clean and even in the most efficient drying mode are reasonably dry.
The app is great, allowing a specific delay time. However, notice that opening it during the delay means start needs to be pressed again (more on that later).
There are two issues that could be improved:
1. During operation you can see it's running with a light. Initially I turned that off because it is a red light on the floor but since it's the only indication outside of the app, I turned it back on.
But that turns off when it finishes and the door automatically opens. My son twice put dirty dishes in, there needs to be a way to show it's clean and an external sign is a workaround not a solution.
In the same vein when it's on a delayed start there's no way to see that, again my son opened it to put something in and the cycle was cancelled.
2. It's not just adjustable enough. I knew that buying it, but there wasn't anything better so I sucked it up. The top shelves adjust up and down ok but there is only one section on the bottom where the tines go down partially. It should allow areas on the top and bottom rack to have no tines. Big items are hard to go in.

Happy with our new Dishwasher

We remodeled our kitchen and, fortunately, decided to replace our old dishwasher. We never expected to notice much of a difference, but we’re so glad we made the investment—not only for the more stylish design, but also for the impressive technology we didn’t even know we were missing.
Now we can control every type of wash cycle from our phones using a simple app. If we forget to start a cycle after leaving the house, we can do it remotely with just a tap. We can even customize the cycle based on the specific dishes we’ve loaded.
We’re extremely happy with our purchase.
