Works really well, wish it had a display

the dishwasher works great, is quiet, and has great motoring options via the mobile app.
What would make it even better is if the machine itself had a display to show time left on the cycle. You can only see that through the mobile app. Additionally some of the advanced options (eco mode, maintenance cleaning cycle) you can only do through the app, which is a shame.

Not as good as our old Bosch

We purchased this to replace an older similar Bosch that gave us repeated errors for a leak that techicians could never find. I dislike some of the changes made in this model: it doesn't clean dishes as well, regardless of the mode we select or how we prepare the dishes and it no longer has a light to tell us when the dishes are clean. The Wifi features are new to us with this model, but we haven't found them useful yet. We wished we had bought something different.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For years, I wandered the appliance wilderness, a lost soul trapped in a purgatory of perpetual grime. Every dishwasher I foolishly brought into my home was a monument to failure, a whirring sarcophagus of betrayal that promised sanitation but delivered only soggy, crusty disappointment. My plates were tragedies, my glasses wept with filmy residue.
Then, from the mist, a prophet emerged. He was a grizzled sage, an old-timer named Sven, who had clearly seen the mountaintop of domestic bliss. He leaned in, his eyes twinkling with forbidden knowledge, and whispered the gospel: "Bosch."
Let me tell you, my friends: SVEN WAS A TITAN OF TRUTH. He was not merely 1000% correct; he was infinitely, cosmically correct.

New Bosch 500

I had the 800 series before. The racks on the 800 were much sturdier and the silverware rack in the bottom went all the way don the side. Wish they had done that to my new one. Still a good machine, but this is our 4th and they seem to get cheaper every time we replace.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THere are several things I dislike aobut this dishwasher:
1) The door does not allow me to open it just an inch or ttwo to allow for some air to get in to prevent it from smelling. Instead, the door comes out tp 5 inches before it stays in place hindering the lfow in the kitchen and looks poorly.
2) I dont like the configuration of the racks inside on the lower level
3) The silverware basket has to bemoved all the way back, thus less access in order to get all the plates stacked in.
3) It did not dispense the dishwashser soap, instead it stayed caked in th edispenser, on the door and on the second rack.
4) the controll buttons are not very responsive and I have to try several times before they repsond
5) It does not indicate the aomount of time it takes to run the dishwasher, there isno digital numbers display.

The plus points are, that it is very quiet and does a good job cleaning unless, the dishwasher soap does not get dispursed.

Love the fact that the dishes are significantly drier with this machine rather than the older models. Absolutely hate the placement reset button. Also, the wi fi connectivity may be great for some, but it is rediculous that I have to go and search for my phone (after standing right next to the dishwasher) so that I can cancel an operation and/or establish a delayed washing cycle. To me, it is more of a waste of time than an enhancement.

The machine is well constructed runs good but the controls are a bit difficult to get to know. the cycle on the botttom is useless there should be a timer to let us know how much time is left
