The motor shows signs of weakness

I've used the mixer a couple of times to make a regular size batch of pizza dough and the motor almost stopped, the motor slowed down as though it couldn't handle the mixing. I used only four cups of flour. I love the size of the machine but I don't think the motor will last. It also took a long time for the dough to reach windowpane compared to my Vevor. It took about 20 minutes of mixing at 35% speed.

I'm a sourdough baker and so so so happy with my mixer. I can mix two loaves at a time and it makes it to the smooth ball stage in 20 min! I do a lot of whole wheat breads with my whole wheat starter and my breads actually finish bulk rise in 3 hrs!

5 days ago my Ooni Halo Pro Spiral Mixer was delivered. I absolutely love it!
I was slowly killing my Kitchenaid Pro. I’ve made sourdough bread and cookies and both turned out great! I made the right decision to invest in this mixer.

Ooni Mixer: game changer

I love using the Ooni mixer. My long loved Kitchenaid just can’t handle my sourdough obsession. I amazed at how fast my dough can get to windowpane! I also can mix large batches of cake batter and never have an issue with pockets of flour at the bottom. Such a timer saver and home bakery product quality booster!

I couldn’t be more pleased at the design, efficacy and ease of use of this “more than a mixer” dough creator. Although it is a little pricy, you’ll soon forget what you paid when you are experiencing how wonderful this machine is.

I really love this more than I thought I would. For context, I used to have an ank which I loved—not sure the end result is really different but this is much more fun to use. I’ve only used it for bread—given what I’ve read probably won’t use it for cookies or cake batter. The reason I’m subtracting a star is that the breaker bar is impossible to remove easily. I really struggle every time—and I am pretty strong! Otherwise—if you bake a lot of bread highly recommend!
