Using for sourdough

This mixer has definitely been a game changer in how my bread looks and tastes! I don’t think it saves me any time compared to hand mixing. It does mix 6 loaves with ease as well as triple batch of cinnamon rolls. Mixer is quiet and just love the beep when I turn it on. Was an upgrade I would gladly do again.

I love my new Ooni!

When I was researching my next new mixer it was between the Ooni and another top brand. Although the other brand was supposedly better for mixing cakes, frosting & whipped cream (which I make a good amount of) something drew me to the Ooni anyway. I’m so happy I made this choice because it’s a wonderful machine and I don’t know what I’d do without it now!

Mine broke after first use

You guys don’t buy this product, the spiral mixer bent and got jammed with my first use. I am very very disappointed. I really expected better quality for the price. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

This machine has my attention

After burning though another kitchenaid stand mixer, I purchase this item. It is heavy duty and can handle bread/dough with ease. It does a great job of mixing the sides and bottom of the bowl so very little scraping is needed. I LOVE THE LIGHT !!! The dough hook is also heavy duty. I'm looking forward to being able to quadruple a cookie recipe or double a bread recipe without all of the super woman scraping that I had to do with my Kitchenaid. I also appreciate how well the mixer thoroughly mixes the recipe components together. Finally, I LOVE the button on top which pauses the mixer so you can add ingredients without getting splashed. I hope this real and isn't a dream !!!!!

Buy the mixer!

I have a KA and recently got into sourdough bread making. I needed a better mixer and decided to invest in a quality mixer. Wow! What a difference! It's a beast, the attachments are sturdy and heavy, and the mixer is easy to use. The whisk attachment could be improved and I'm sure now that there is true market research out there Ooni will update that. That doesn't deter me at all. It's really a minor inconvenience.

I have enjoyed the Oonie Halo Mixer ver much. I did have a bit of a learing curve from using a Kitchen Aid. This has handeled my large batches of Bread and Cinamon rolls so much better. The motor does not struggel at all and it seems to incorperate the ingrediants so much better.

Screechy motor like tinitus

I like the look of this halo mixer and the end product of using this mixer, I've made some wonderful focaccias and pizzas. BUT the motor produces a high pitched screeching sound that goes straight through me, Like finger nails down a chalk board. Its so horrendous that I have not used it as much I had envisioned when I bought it.

Excellent for making bread dough, terrible for whipping.

The mixer for dough is excellent, but the whisk for whipping is poorly designed. I can whip cream or meringue by hand more quickly.
I hope you can redesign this component, as it should be better.
