Commercial grade mixer at a great price!

This mixer is beyond my expectations! Simply amazing! Where my old Kitchen Aid would struggle with 1200-1500 grams of 63% hydrated dough, this Halo Pro can handle over 2000g of dough easily! For this price, you wont find a commercial-like mixer like this one. Highly recommend!

Perfect for the home baker

High quality spiral mixer perfect for the home baker. All of the dough I’ve mixed so far has been perfection. Most recently bagels, which were perfectly light and chewy. I love everything about this mixer, but especially the features like the timer and breaker bar. It’s compact enough to fit on my counter in my small kitchen, but very sturdy and easy to use. Highly recommend!

Beautiful countertop mixer, exceptional performanc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This countertop mixer is beautifully designed, with minimalist curves and edges. The digital touch display is easy to use to control the speed or timer. The bowl light is a very smart feature that I didn't know I wanted.
Beyond its beauty, the mixer parts have the weight and feel of serious commercial equipment. Nothing wobbles or squeaks, even with low moisture doughs. Despite 2 motors turning the bowl and attachment, it is one of the quietest mixers I've ever used. This is going to be a keeper for sure.

High quality and easy mix (and clean-up!)

Full disclosure, I received the Halo Pro for free from Ooni, but am speaking strictly from my experience having used it on multiple occasions.
I am someone who generally mixes by hand and has done so for many years, but will likely use the mixer going forward. The Halo has made things not only easier and with less clean-up for me, but I’ve also noticed that my doughs when using this spiral mixer incorporate the ingredients thoroughly and with very nice gluten strength. The rise and ear on the last sandwich loaf of bread I made with the dough in this mixer was really something, and I feel that the mix helped with this.
I’ve used the mixer to make all sorts of doughs, including cookies with the paddle attachment and loved how easy it was to get a batch going (and I never make cookies!). I’ve done low hydration, high hydration, and enriched doughs in this mixer, so being able to adjust the speed to the appropriate speed without overheating the dough has been very helpful. Also, I love the depth and size of the bow and the lighting so I can better see the mix as it’s happening!

It exceeded my expectations. Am impressed by the features as well as by the build. Made my first 100% biga (72% hydration) pizza dough yesterday and it came out perfectly. Being able to choose the speed by RPMs is a great feature.
I purchased this as a replacement for my KitchenAid bowl lift mixer, which always seemed to struggle with pizza dough and needed considerable baby sitting to avoid overheating. The Halo had no trouble.

Worth the investment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ooni Halo Pro Spiral Mixer is absolutely incredible! It put my old KitchenAid to shame. I broke it in by making a big batch of pizza dough and was highly impressed. Just because it’s from Ooni doesn’t mean it’s just for pizza! I also made a cake and was delighted with the results! It runs quietly considering the power it carries. Speaking of power, it had no problem handling with the pizza dough and the dough released nicely from the hook. This mixer has unique dual kneading spiral technology, not usually found in household kitchens. It has a large 7. 3 quart capacity stainless bowl which nicely holds the included flexible beater, whisk, spiral dough hook and removable breaker bar, when not in use. Even though this is a spiral mixer, the bowl is detachable and dishwasher safe, highly convenient. The head tilts and also has two lights that shine brightly into the bowl. The digital control panel includes a timer and 58 levels of RPM. All this and it looks very stylish on my countertop! I highly recommend this machine

Finally A Professional Spiral Mixer for Home Use!

Finally a professional spiral mixer for home use at a competitive price with great features! I would never purchase a unit with a fixed bowl and dough hook making clean up difficult. The Halo bowl is large and removable as well as the dough hook and bar making this so easy to clean. It's small enough to fit into a cabinet and light enough to easily move around the kitchen. A spiral mixer is a must for developing the gluten. I have a planetary mixer and all it does is spin the dough around the bowl. Thank you Ooni!!!!
