I use the Ooni to mix all my sourdough sandwich bread doughs. Not only does it cut down on time but it delivers a consistent strong dough and a delicious loaf of sandwich bread.
I absolutely love the mixer. I had seen comments about it being loud or having a motor like sound which I do not feel it does. I am disappointed that I’m not able to buy additional mixing bowls for multiple bake items. I would say that would be the only downside as with myKitchenAid I cannot only buy additional steel bowls, but I can buy glass and copper. .
What can I say . I used one decades ago in bakery college and loved it albeit it was pretty much restricted to doughs really . I'm actually 4th generation Baker all generations having had their own bakery businesses . I always used a planetary 80qrt. I finally bit the bullet after reading many reviews on pros and cons and settled on purchasing the Halo. Absolutely delighted I did now that I'm getting used to it I would Never go back to a planetary mixer again . Lesson learned . Thank you for bringing this adaptable model out . I love my ooni mixer. It really does all that I need it to and has allowed me to level up my sourdough. It is quite loud though and some of my recipes do climb the spiral hook which is a bit frustrating.
