Dough made easy….

Having made breads and pastries professionally and at home this machine was a revelation. No more dough riding up the dough hook it produces a fantastic gluten build up with minimal effort. The machine does all the work for you. The spinning feature of the bowl is so helpful in incorporating all your ingredients. It all stores away easily so has a great look. So glad I bought it!!!!

A beast of a machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely amazing!! We are in love with our new spiral mixer. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, quiet and huge. Basically, it’s a beast compared to our previous stand mixer. Which is great because we have a newborn so I was hoping for something that I could set and forget. I think my favorite little feature is the light!

I love the Ooni mixer. I love the design, the simplicity and how fast and powerful it is. There was a major improvement in my bread the first time I used it. I also majorly love that most parts are dishwasher safe. For me, this is huge! It’s the best mixer ever!

Could be better!

I feel very let down by the lack of practical advice given by Ooni. I am left trawling the internet for advice on timing & speeds to use. I have lots of unanswered questions. Do I need to adapt my usual recipes or not? If so how? Do I need to keep my Kmix for cakes & non bread baking? There were only 3 example recipes provided on your website.
I am a home cook - I bought this because I make lots of bread and my Kmix cannot handle more than 1 kilo of dough. I was going to buy an ankarsrum mixer but held back till the Halo Pro was released & opted for it instead. I do not make pizza. You seem to believe that only dedicated pizza makers would purchase this mixer. At this price point comprehensive instructions and a set of sample recipes / videos are not unreasonable expectations.

The mixer is much better than what I had before. It improved the dough quality and is easy to use.
The one thing I would like to improve is buying an extra bowl. It would be faster to make the dough with 2 bowls. But when I contacted the support line the told me it’s not possible to buy a separate bowl. I wish I had that option, that’s why 4 stars for now
