[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice dispenser is not working. The freezer is caked with ice and will not close.

Overall a great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the spaciousness in the refrigerator and freezer. There is one draw back and that is the ice machine. It is hard to open and close and you cannot reach and grab ice cubes without taking the box out of the door. I didn't notice this feature when we purchased it. Otherwise a great refrigerator.

Bad water dispenser

This refrigerator has a problem with the water dispenser so the ice cubes are small and the water trickles out. It’s not even a month old and whirlpool wants to repair a whole part.. at least it’s still under warranty. But it’s new and now they are gonna tear it appart

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Refrigerator. Thin or hollow ice cubes usually indicate a problem with the water supply, flow, or pressure to the ice maker.
1. Water Filter Issues
Improper Installation: A recently installed filter must be correctly seated and sealed. An incorrect installation restricts flow, resulting in thin cubes. Action: Check and reinstall the filter. If water dispenses freely after the filter is removed, re-seat the filter correctly.
Clogged Filter: Replace the filter every 6 months or when the indicator light is on. A clogged filter reduces flow and pressure, causing low production and hollow cubes. Solution: Replace with a genuine everydrop® filter.
2. Air in the Water System (Flushing)
Air Trapped: After filter replacement or maintenance, the system contains air. This causes small, hollow, or misshapen cubes.
Procedure: You must flush the system to purge air and carbon particles.
Dispenser Models: Dispense 1-4 gallons of water (check filter instructions).
Non-Dispenser Models: Discard the first three full bins of ice produced.
3. Water Line and Pressure Issues
Kinked Water Line: The 1/4" cold water supply line (copper or PEX) must be free of kinks or crimps. A kink severely restricts flow and causes hollow cubes. Action: Pull the refrigerator out and inspect/straighten the line.
Low Water Pressure: Adequate water pressure is essential for efficient ice making. Low pressure causes slow dispensing and small, hollow cubes. Recommendation: Ensure correct water pressure according to your model's specifications.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems: Connecting to an RO system can inherently reduce pressure, potentially leading to thin/hollow cubes. Consult Whirlpool guides for mitigation strategies.

Pours 12 ozs. In twenty-five seconds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the WRFF3536SW refrigerator 2-09-26 and I see an issue with the water dispenser system. A (12) twelve ounce glass of water fills in (25) twenty-five seconds. I have even removed the water filter and still the water volume speed is VERY slow. The water pressure provided to the refrigerator is not an issue an it is very strong. The water filler area is absolutely a terrible design as it spills on the very edge of the glass under it instead of being in the center of the glass as anyone would expect. The refrigerator is wrapped at the factory with clear plastic even before it is assembled punching the plastic wrap underneath the seal material on all exterior doors, handles etc. making it IMPOSSIBLE to remove it all. I did purchase a Whirlpool on the reputation of longevity and serviceability! The engineers who put together the WRFF3536SW should review what they are providing and I still look forward to a modification to the water pressure issue built into this particular model.

Nice refrigerator, huge capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a little over a month ago, overall we do like it very much, but there are a couple of issues, the water dispenser is prone to filling because there’s not enough room to put a cup there behind the water dispenser, and also it’s extremely slow compared to the last refrigerator we had. One other issue is the bottom draw requires that you open both doors fully in order to open the draw, which is a bit of a hassle.

Whirlool Disappointment

from Saint Charles MO
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several weeks ago and had I actually seen it in the store, I would Not ave purchased it. The plastic door shelves are very thin - no room for egg carton. You cannot get water out of the outside dispenser without the rim of hour glass touching it unless you press it with your finger - very unsanitary! The compressor is noisy and the overall look of the refrigerator is cheap looking! I should never have purchased this refrigerator, EXTREMELY disappointed!!!
