Good appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the fridge for about 1 month and overall we really like it. There is a lot of room inside the fridge and the freezer is sufficient in size, and even has a designated area for pizza. We do have another standup freezer which holds the majority of our freezer items. The only reason for a 4 star rating is that you have to make sure the doors to the fridge are fully closed. You can't just nudge the doors to close. However, the fridge will warn you if you left the door open with a soft beep, which is handy. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants a large capacity fridge.

I had to wait about 3 weeks but it was well worth the wait. It is a great refrigerator with lots of room and looks beautiful.

Best Family-Friendly Refrigerator 🏆

The French doors make it easy to organize food, and the water and ice dispenser is super handy — for example, my son loves filling his water bottle before school, and it’s quick and easy every time. Overall, a great fridge that’s practical, convenient, and stylish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the room in this But icemaker quit working after only 4 months so I called apparently there is only one company in the state of Florida that is contracted to work on whirlpool appliances and they are on the other coast. I called whirlpool few weeks ago they made an appointment I stayed home day of apt then all of a sudden had message they was not coming to reschedule so I did then had another appointment and once again had message that day that was not going to make it so had to reschedule so now I have appointment for tomorrow we shall see
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good product but factory QC left me disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit arrived with two problems: 1. LH fridge door not aligned with RH door by 1/2" and 2. LH side of freezer door would not seal against the chassis by half an inch, allowing for frost buildup in the freezer. WP includes a shim kit for the fridge door adjustment, which solved the problem. WP had to send a repair tech out to find the problem with the LH side of the freezer door. Turns out the LH freezer door slide was improperly installed at the factory, enough so that it prevented the LH side from closing properly and sealing. Tech corrected the defect and resolved the issue. The refrigerator/freezer itself has good and bad features. With the ice maker built into the LH refrigerator door, the door will not stay in place when opened; it will try to close when you let go of it. This is incredibly annoying when retrieving items from inside the LH side of the fridge. However, in exchange, you do get additional space in the fridge that would otherwise would be taken by having the ice maker located in the refrigerator section. The LED lighting in the freezer is poor. When you pull the freezer open, the lighting only illuminates the top drawer section, no light gets to the bottom freezer bin. All-in-all the product is a good unit and well-featured, but the initial quality from the factory was sadly disappointing from a standard of the industry such as Whirlpool. In summary, this product gets an average rating as all the other refrigerators in this size/class are all similarly featured. There was nothing that really set this one apart from the others. The factory faults were annoying but hopefully an anomaly.
