Great brew!

This machine makes a delicious pot or cup of coffee. So far I have only used the guided brew with medium roast beans and I am very pleased with the results. I tend to make a 3 cup batch into a 16 oz double wall glass. I find that the carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot enough for me because I sometimes don’t get back to the pot for a few hours. I’m quite happy making a few cups at a time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything is perfect about this coffee maker, I’d give the choice to buy an extra glass carafe.

Great and I love my Aiden!

Love this product and very happy with it. It really needs a drip stopper. Other than that. I love it and it’s very user friendly.
I bought this machine right before I received my Onyx Advent box, and it was the coolest introduction to the machine with Onyx's pre-programmed recipes for each coffee process.
As a cafe owner and roaster, I am particular with what I drink in the morning. I really appreciate the versatility of the brewer's use of basket shape and size, for a single cup for myself or multiple for the family. This feature allows me to dial in my coffee to spec with either the pre-programmed recipes or by creating my own. Giving the user full control over recipe building is the best thing this machine does, while holding down the essentials with agitation and temperature accuracy.
Pros: 1. full programming control 2. built for customer experience- nerd out or conk out, you'll be drinking great coffee. 3. NO STEAM to damage cabinets (that seal keeps it all in, genius!) 4. temp control for each pulse 5. versatile baskets and brew head toggle for small to large volume. 6. the agitation from the brew head is just right, and gets me a flat bed of grinds on the flat bottom basket, or slightly concave bed of grinds on the cone. 7. The one-button slick modern design to match my Ode 2 and Fellow Kettle becomes a conversation piece for visitors. Bitchin.
cons: 1. the carafe to hold the brewed coffee is well insulated, but the lid has gaps that let a lot of the heat out. Not really a problem for me since I pour my coffee right away, but could imagine it being an issue if you want to keep a smaller amount of coffee in there for longer than 30 minutes. However, I like the design of the lid/carafe with NO moving parts, therefore less to clean.
Suggested improvements:
1. I love that the recipes tell you how much coffee to add to the basket, but when the volume is selected, you have to add the basket to the brewer before it shows the input amount for the ratio you're brewing. I like to add the coffee and give it a little shake to level, so I need to add the basket, hit the button, remove the basket and add coffee, then return to the brewer. A solution would be to prompt volume -> coffee amount -> add basket -> start
2. A different lid that allows better heat retention.
9.9/10. Buy this brewer- it is worth it and it might spoil you. You deserve a better experience at home!

Great on ergonomics, great on brewing. A few snafus I'd rather not have.

This is a unique coffee maker with more options than I'll most likely never use. But they are there for the offing, just in case I get adventurous with my brewing. I love the cubist design and have referred to it as my "Mecca' in the Kitchen. There are two things I do not like: (1) the water level indicator in small and almost translucent type on the reservoir is hard to read. I use a Brita bottle instead of tap water and while pouring it is very difficult to read, requiring me to stop, look, pour a little and then proceed again. (2) I got the app, connected it to the coffee maker with Bluetooth and all seemed good. But since then, whenever I open the app, there is an endless rotation of the little time wheel and the app does not connect – no matter what I do with the coffee maker. Sucks.

Great Machine for all Levels of Baristas
on January 31, 2025

This coffee maker is awesome! I previously had an automatic “pour over” coffee maker from another company and although it was great, it only had the simple feature of an automated pour over. The Aiden is amazing in that it tells you exactly how much coffee to weigh and add based on the number of cups you want, it has different settings to brew different roasts perfectly, it sets a schedule to have it ready at the perfect time with guidance on how to brew. I am a pretty simple pour over home barista but these additional features with guidance have really kicked my brews to the next level with zero effort, just the click of the dial. You will not regret buying this, even if you already have another automatic pour over machine. Pair it with the Fellow Opus Grinder and Talley Scale and you are dialed.

Best. Coffee. Brewer. Ever.

We can’t say enough positive things about our Aiden! We have been researching brewers for months and finally decided to take the plunge…we’re so glad we did! The removable water reservoir is perfect, the carafe is solid and easy to clean, the tech features are so impressive, and the machine is much sturdier than anticipated. My only complaint is the carafe being 10 cups vs. the 12 I would take to work with me everyday with our previous pot. But, I’ll live!

Really like the features and.performance of the Aiden. Some have complained about the fit and finish. Yes we would all like sturdier devices but added costs would be necessary and not worth it for me.
