Beautiful look, easy to use, love it.

Arrived when expected, the unpacking video and demo videos were most helpful. Registration is easy. However the little card enclosed said a VIP phone number is provided and it isn't. You must email. When you do be very specific. After a week I found that the coffee maker no longer recognized the large brew basket. The email advised me to send the machine back! I didn't save packaging. So after a little investigation on my own, I noticed the shiy little magnet on the bottom of the basket which tells the machine if it's the cone or batch basket must have fallen out. I emailed again with photos and area circled. When a week I was sent a new basket. I hope this one has the magnet securely in place. Maybe they should have sent a couple extra magnets. For the price I didn't expect any problems at all!!

Good but not for making more than 4 cups

Making more than 4 cups ( following the brewing instructions to the 1/10 gram however causes an overfill situation so that's the brewer head or whatever the thing that the water comes out of ends up getting coffee grinds and reaidue all over it. Also causes the fill to apparently go above filter basket level allowing unbrewes water/underbrewed coffee and grinds to escape and get into the carafe
The cold brew function is nice tho
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not ready for prime time

So here’s the problem. I love the Aiden. But… until the app is functional I find doing any customization next to impossible and very frustrating. Eventually I hope it becomes easier to use. I own every Fellow product. I hope this one comes through for me.

Great machine and great coffee…

I received my Aiden in September and I haven’t used any of my other machines since. Makes one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in a while. The coffee that came with it were great even considering the fact that I don’t really drink lighter roasts, but they were great with the brew profiles. I can’t say enough about this machine and can’t wait until the app is fully developed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Met expectations!

I've used it 3 times since I've gotten it and LOVE IT! I put in the brew recipe with a coffee I got with Fellow Drops and got MUCH better results than what I was doing on my own using my Chemex. I'm genuinely pleased. Beyond the best benefit, taste, I like that the coffee is hotter than what I get in my Chemex (a lot of cool down happens even if I first put hot water in my chemex & mug), and I can make more coffee at once! I look fwd to the promised features like being able to PUSH the brew recipes to the machine vs. having to manually add them.

Seeking Coffee Perfection

This is not a coffee maker for everyone. This is for someone who wants to elevate coffee, but doesn't want to do pourover or similar. In return for some ease, there's a loss of some control, but the machine does everything really well. There's much simpler (and cheaper) machines out there, but do they give you this level of control? No. Do they have the chance to upgrade and personalize? No. The potential of the coffee profiles and guides is huge, if Fellow gets roasters to buy in and they get the app to a usable point. I'm knocking a point off my review here (Nov '24) because not everything works as promised, but the potential is all still there and it's good as-is. Just ask yourself - how serious am I about coffee?

Almost perfect; too much plastic

I’ve only had my Aiden for a week now but I’m genuinely grateful to have a coffee maker that is dialed into the details to make a great cup (or pot) of coffee without the manual attention pour over requires. Although it’s not perfect. The app is a joke in its current state. Really it shouldn’t have been released yet because there’s no reason or usefulness in it today. I am hopeful for its promising future state. Biggest miss to me is the excessive plastic - the putter housing is one thing but I’m specifically concerned about the components that come in contact with near boiling temperatures. Brewing through plastic - especially at this price point - is a real oversight to me. I think you can do better Fellow!
