Flexibility, performance, value

Easily switching from single serve to batch brew in one unit is great. Whether single or batch, the performance doesn't suffer. The preset brew profiles for the roasts are extracting flavors I was not getting with my pourover setup (skill issue?). Lastly, the materials do not seem premium, but when compared to the prices and materials of other products in their lineup, it seems this was built to deliver amazing technology (in an okay chassis) at a reasonable price.

I just got the Aiden this week. I'm very fussy about my coffee - migrated from Chemex a year ago (too time consuming, too busy in the morning) to Technivorm Moccamaster, which took a lot of experimentation and hacks to produce a pretty good pot to now the Aiden. Right out of the box it made an almost excellent pot, at least as good as I used to make with pour-over, using the standard parameters. I'll be fine tuning for a while and expect the Aiden to exceed every other method I've ever used. Worth the price for me!

I have only had this for a week, and I have had no time to explore the many features of this machine. So I am here to say that I am delighted by the "Instant Brew" setting. I just press a button and get excellent coffee. I hope to broaden my horizons at a later date.

So Far, So Excellent

The Aiden is exactly the coffee machine I have been waiting for. I love specialty coffee, but my spouse and the other folks for whom I regularly make coffee are apathetic at best to actively disinterested in my specialty coffee. That's not a problem (more for me, after all!) but as someone with a toddler I also struggled to have my cake and eat it too: that is, making my "fancy coffee" with a V60 or Clever or Kalitta after hand-grinding became entirely too much faff, and using the old 12-cup Mr. Coffee was out of the question for my single-origin beans.
With Aiden, I get the benefit of a brewer which can at least do a solid facsimile of a professional pourover for myself which is almost entirely hands-off, then switch to the batch brew basket to throw on a pot of the generic grocery store pre-ground coffee for my family. And I don't have to devote counter space to both the "basic" coffee maker AND a specialty coffee brewer. Aiden does both, and very well.

Overall, the machine works well. The only concern we have is when washing the pot out, water gets under the handle. Assuming the handle is hollow, water does come from where it contacts the side of the pot. If water is not drained there is a potential for mold formation.

Great everyday coffee maker with a sleek design

We’ve been using this every morning and we love it!! A big step above normal drip and it gives me a great tasting coffee similar to the pour over I love!!

Great flavor profiles for single and batch brews. Compliments Fellow Drops perfectly, especially with it provided recipes. Will be much easier once the app can auto-add the new profiles.
